I finally got my GigaMacro rig up to the 'new' house (we have been here for 17 months, so 'new' seems a bit of an over statement).
It is in a sub-nominal condition, there is rust, and wear from neglect. But it is, to me, a beautiful object, and I would like it functional again!
I want to set it up to be able to enjoy it, and also to possibly use it. Taking high resolution images used to be something I valued!
but I need a table.
I watched some videos, (This one from Bear Mountain Builds was helpful), and then I ordered another set of the casters that are working on another project.
And I dug into my deeply atrophied OpenSCAD skills and made a model.

I downloaded a STEP format model from McMaster Carr for similar castors to the ones I will use, and then used an online STEP to STL conversion tool.
This is a low-laser project...but maybe I can etch designs onto the wood or something.
